Specially designed for use in medium and high vacuum applications in ammonia atmospheres, materials of construction and design are specifically directed at chemical and mechanical resistance, resulting in a robust and reliable pump.

Description

• Anti suck back valve: safety feature preventing pump oil from being sucked back into the system when the pump switches off (Models RD-9 NH3 and RD-18 NH3).
• Forced lubrication: An easy to replace oil filter provides a constant flow of clean oil (Models RD-35 NH3 and RD-70 NH3).
• Cooling: natural convection.
• Flanges: Inlet and outlet ports are fitted with Pneurop (KF) system flanges, making accessories easier to fit.
• Quality guarantee: each pump is individually inspected and tested.
• All metal parts in contact with the fluid are made out of stainless steel.
• All non-metal parts in contact with the fluid are made out of Teflon.

There are many industrial vacuum applications where ammonia vapours or mixtures containing ammonia vapour are present. To address this, Telstar has launched the NH3 Vacuum Pump Series, specially designed for chemical and mechanical resistance when operating in these environments.
