Introduction

These automatic valves for high vacuum are operated electropneumatically, with integrity guaranteed by means of O-ring shaft seal. The VM2 valves are capable of operating against atmospheric pressure and can carry out more than a million cycles without maintenance.

• Silent opening and closing actuation.
• Valve position display indicator and position detector.
• Tightness tested with helium for a leak under 1 x 10^-6 mbar l s^-1.
• Shaft interseal vacuum connection.
• Pressure working range: 1 x 10^-4 mbar to 2,500 mbar.
• Compressed air operation from 5 to 7 bar.
• Valve body: aluminium alloy.
• Internals: stainless steel and aluminium.
